Evaluation Policy for Nursery & Prep

Nursery and Prep will not have formal examination. The progress of these students will be judged through continuous and comprehensive evaluation.

In nursery and prep classes we emphasise on play-way and activity based teaching. Children are assessed on the basis of daily class performance and worksheets to be solved after a topic is over. Children are not graded at this stage. Report cards are given to the parents twice in a session for class Nursery and Prep. Teacher remains in regular contact with the parent to discuss the child's performance.

Children are assessed on the basis of following:

Evaluation Policy for Classes: I – II

In our school assessments are done for learning and learning is not done for assessments. Students are assessed in scholastic and co -scholastic areas throughout the year. The progress of the student is judged through continuous academic performance during the year and comprehensive evaluation.

There are two revision assignments after completion of the topic in each subject: (English, Hindi, Maths and EVS)

Evaluation sheets are filled two times in a year on the basis of the following:

Students are assessed in scholastic and co -scholastic areas throughout the year. The progress of the student is judged through continuous academic performance during the year and comprehensive evaluation.

The CCE is integrated well with the system of evaluation. Assessment is done in scholastic and co-scholastic areas over the year.

 Scholastic Evaluation

Grade of formative assessments over the two terms (F1+F2+F3+F4) is given and the grade of summative Assessment (S1+S2) is given based on 9 point grading scale.
